As a program of the UT-Austin Mesoamerica Center, this annual conference draws scholars from a wide spectrum of relevant fields, as well as interested non-professionals, to interact creatively and share the most recent insights on Maya and Mesoamerican research.
Registration for the 2010 Maya Meetings is available online via UT-Austin’s TXShop website, where you will be able to pay by credit card, U.S. check, money order, or cashier’s check. Before registering, please note the following and then consult the instructions below for registering through TXShop.
Registration must be completed online. In-person registration is not available.
All of our events require registration.
All workshops are being conducted concurrently. Therefore, you may only register for one workshop.
Registration fees are not refundable.
Registrant Categories and Fees
There are two categories of registrants. Please select your appropriate category when registering in TXShop.
Students
Workshop Fee: $60 (sixty dollars)
Lectures and Key Note Speaker Fee: $25 (twenty-five dollars)
Non-Students
Workshop Fee: $120 (one-hundred and twenty dollars)
Lectures and Key Note Speaker Fee: $50 (fifty dollars)

Register online and pay with a credit card (Mastercard, Visa, or Discovery)
Registrant Category
Select your appropriate category: Student or Non-Student
Workshop / Lectures
Select the workshop / lecture for which you are registering.
Complete the form, including Registrant Name, Affiliation, Email, and Quantity.
Click Add to Cart.
If you registering for both a workshop and the lecture, click Continue Shopping, select the other and complete the form.
When you are finished registering, click Checkout.
Checkout and Payment
Verify the accuracy of your order.
If you do not have a UT EID (not required), click Continue under Quick Checkout.
On the Order Summary page, add your Address Information.
Click Pay by Credit Card.
Complete your billing information on the following screen and click Pay.
After checkout, an email generated by TXShop will confirm your registration.

Workshop / Lectures
Select the workshop / lecture for which you are registering.
Complete the form, including Registrant Name, Affiliation, Email, and Quantity.

When you are finished registering, click Checkout.
Checkout and Payment

On the Order Summary page, add your Address Information.
Click Prepay.
Enter your pre-payment information (check number, etc.) on the following screen and click Pay.
After checkout, an email generated by TXShop will confirm your registration.
Make U.S. checks, money orders, and cashier’s checks payable to The University of Texas at Austin.
You must include a printed copy of your confirmation email with your payment.
